About
All businesses are set up for one reason or another, in our case we set the shop up because of my Dad. Ian was a passionate runner and ran not because he wanted to break records or be the fastest, but simply because he enjoyed running and enjoyed inspiring others to do the same. Before a brain tumour took Dad’s life in July 2007 he had set up a running club in our home town of Looe, Cornwall: Looe Pioneers. The club now runs with a new logo incorporating Dad’s initials (Ian Slee) in lowercase PiONEERs, which explains the name behind our shop.
As you can see the shop is a labour of love. We are going to set up a chain of these with running clubs and raise lots and lots of cash for lots of charities along the way, as well as giving away a good chunk of any profits to charity too. We’re not in this for the cash, but to do something we are passionate about and have good fun doing it and meet lots of like-minded people.
Life’s too short to be stressing, so whack on a pair of running shoes and come and join us!
What we do
The key thing for us at PiONEERs is making sure you guys get the right pair of shoes every time. Whether you’re a neutral runner, over-pronate or supinate, using video analysis we can carefully assess your running style and then advise you on what type of shoe would be best suited. All of this is done in a very non-scary environment, so if you want to know more or have any other questions feel free to give us a call or simply pop in at any time.
Returns Policy
We are unable to offer refunds on unwanted purchases, however we will if the product is faulty and a proof of purchase is presented. If there appears to be no obvious fault with the product we will then need to send back the item to the suppliers for testing before any refund is given.
If the product is unused and still in its original packaging we are happy to exchange an item or issue a credit note – provided the goods are returned within 28 days of sale and with a proof of purchase.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
